The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales operations within their designated area, developing sales strategies, identifying potential markets and customers, achieving sales targets, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing feedback to the product development team. The role also includes coordinating with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and conducting market research to stay abreast of industry trends. Qualifications - Proven experience in sales and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance metrics - In-depth understanding of the life sciences market and current market trends - Analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market data - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus) - Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area
