Job Title Machine Maintenance Technician Location Kottaiyur Tamil Nadu Department Maintenance Engineering Reports To Production Incharge Plant Head Job Summary The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all machines and equipment run efficiently with minimal downtime The role involves regular inspection preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems used in production The technician must ensure all maintenance work follows company safety and quality standards Key Responsibilities Perform daily weekly and monthly preventive maintenance of production machinery Diagnose mechanical electrical pneumatic or hydraulic issues and carry out necessary repairs Maintain and update maintenance records and service logs Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery Ensure machines operate at optimal performance and reduce unplanned breakdowns Replace defective parts lubricate components and ensure proper machine calibration Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize machine downtime Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability Qualifications Skills Education ITI Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering Experience 1-3 years of experience in machine or equipment maintenance Technical Skills Knowledge of mechanical systems bearings motors and gearboxes Basic understanding of electrical systems and sensors Ability to read machine drawings and maintenance manuals Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance tools and equipment Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Commitment to safety and efficiency Work Conditions Location Maraica Industries Kottaiyur Tamil Nadu Employment Type Full-Time On-Roll Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
