Job Description

Job Title: Compensation C Benefits Executive

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred).

Certification in HR or Compensation and Benefits (e.g., SHRM, CCP, GRP) is an advantage.

Experience:

810 years in compensation, benefits, or job evaluation roles.

Job Brief:

We are seeking a Benefits and Job Evaluation executive to design, implement, and oversee

programs that drive employee satisfaction, trust, and performance. This role is integral to ensuring

competitive compensation practices through robust job evaluation frameworks and effective

benefit programs aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Benefits

1. Communicate and promote employee benefits programs through diverse channels such as

newsletters, webinars, and internal portals.

2. Conduct onboarding sessions and periodic updates for employees regarding benefits

offerings.

3. Evaluate and improve existing benefits programs for efficiency, relevance, and employee

satisfaction.

4. Research and recommend new employee benefit plans in coordination with key

stakeholders.

5. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to optimize costs and ensure high-quality service

delivery.

6. Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of benefit-related contributions and

deductions.

7. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with organizational

and legal standards.

Job Evaluation

1. Implement and manage job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Hay, Mercer or other

Consulting firms) to ensure fairness and consistency.

2. Collaborate with department heads and HR teams to gather detailed job data, including

responsibilities, qualifications, and duties.

3. Develop and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date job descriptions for all roles.

4. Educate managers and employees on job evaluation processes and tools to ensure

transparency.

5. Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to maintain competitive job evaluation practices.

6. Resolve discrepancies and issues related to job evaluations effectively and in a timely

manner.

7. Regularly update and maintain job evaluation systems and related documentation.

Compensation

1. Collaborate with the compensation team to implement findings from job evaluation

exercises.

2. Analyze compensation data to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment

with market standards.

3. Assist in developing compensation models and frameworks based on evaluation

outcomes.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven working experience in compensation, benefits, or job evaluation.

Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex modeling) and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms and job evaluation software (e.g., Mercer, Hay).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to manage complex datasets and reports.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and findings clearly.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet

deadlines.

Work Conditions:

Flexibility to adapt to changing project timelines and organizational priorities.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
