Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Executive- Audit & Tax at Kamath & Associates Chartered Accountants, located in Udupi. The Senior Executive will be responsible for executing and managing audit assignments, ensuring compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations, preparing and reviewing financial statements. The Senior Executive will also supervise and guide junior team members, liaise with clients, and assist in the development of audit plans and strategies.

Responsibilities

- Lead and execute statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits across diverse industries.
- Independently handle GST compliance including returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate with clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Contribute to the overall management and administrative functioning of the office.
- Assist in streamlining processes and implementing best practices for audit and compliance.

Eligible Criteria

- ICAI articleship completed candidates (preferred) OR minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in GST, Accounts, Income Tax and Audit.
- Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and auditing procedures.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, time management, and team collaboration.
- Willingness to be actively involved in the overall management of the office.
