
Event Sales Executive

Feathers – A Radha Hotel is seeking a talented executive to join our Events Sales Team. The executive will be responsible for generating and maximising banquet revenues for the hotel. Other responsibilities include managing and coordinating catering and conference service activities, event setup, menu planning and other client specifications to deliver smooth execution of events both corporate and social.
Work Location: Hotel Feathers, Manapakkam (work from office)
Job description
· Solicit, negotiate and generate revenues for events and conferences.
· Interact with clients seeking banquet venue for social or corporate events.
· Pushing and acquiring new businesses using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, attending to walk-in clients etc.
· Develop, implement and constantly modify sales action plans.
· Co-ordinate with F&B Service and Production teams to ensure the client specifications are met and to ensure smooth execution.
· Manage and distribute function details and event changes to operating departments during function execution.
· Monitor client specifications to promote smooth execution and client satisfaction.
· Liaising with event vendors and external service providers.
Skills required
· Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
· Excellent promotional ability and knowledge of marketing channels and techniques.
· Great interpersonal and communication abilities.
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
· Strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
· 1-3 years of experience in banquet sales would be an added advantage.
