Designation: - Network Administrator (L2)

Location: - Gurgaon

Experience: - 4+Years

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise firewalls and security appliances

(Fortinet, Checkpoint).

Manage Meraki-based wireless infrastructure, switches, and SD-WAN configurations.

Perform proactive monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of network components to

ensure high availability and performance.

Collaborate with Level 1 support teams to resolve escalated issues and provide

advanced technical guidance.

Implement network security policies, rules, and access controls in line with

organizational policies.

Plan and execute network upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance with minimal

downtime.

Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident documentation.

Maintain network documentation including diagrams, change logs, and IP inventories.

Ensure compliance with audit and information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001,

GDPR, etc.).

Work with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support and issue

resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

78 years of overall experience in IT infrastructure with at least 4+ years in a

Network Administrator or similar role.

Hands-on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate), Checkpoint firewalls, and Meraki

solutions.

Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), NAT, and

ACLs.

Proficient in network protocols TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, SNMP. Experience in managing multi-location and cloud-hybrid networks.

Ability to use network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG,

Wireshark).

Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat mitigation techniques.

Preferred Certifications (Any of the following):

Fortinet NSE 4 / NSE 5

Checkpoint CCSA / CCSE

Cisco CCNA / CCNP

Meraki CMNA

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.

Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Work Schedule & Availability:

Should be available for 24/7 rotational support, on-call duties, or shift-based

operations if required.

Availability for planned changes and incident handling during off-hours/weekends as

needed.
