Job Description Risk:Head, Credit Risk - Retail Lending & Cards About Risk The Risk department ensures that the Bank's risk is managed through a risk management architecture as well as through policies and processes approved by the Board of Directors encompassing independent identification, measurement and management of risks across the various businesses of the Bank. The Risk department of the Bank strives to proactively anticipate vulnerabilities at the transaction as well as at the portfolio level, through quantitative or qualitative examination of the embedded risks About the Role Managing credit risk for the Retail lending portfolios of Credit Cards, Consumer loan, Personal loan & Wheels. Job entails defining policy norms for sourcing & underwriting, monitoring of portfolio performance basis defined risk guardrails and ensuring that credit facilities are granted as per the RBI regulations and Bank defined policy guidelines. Key Responsibilities KRAs would include the following, .Discussion of policy requirements with key stakeholders & getting the same approved .Implementation of policy rules in system (Blaze) .Development & validation of scorecards/alternate models .Review PMC/CMC notes for Retail lending & Cards .Using PRISM framework for proactively tracking the portfolios working closely with key stakeholders for identifying Business Growth Opportunities (BGO) & cutting down segments having low/negative profitability .Implementing of digital risk framework for key Retail lending products & Cards .Defining the RAS guardrails for key retail lending portfolios and implementing governance risk framework for effective risk management .Defining early risk guardrails & monitoring triggers for Retail portfolio .Manage Hindsighting for Retail portfolio conduct process reviews through channel/branch visits .Regular reporting of portfolio quality & key risks to Mancom/Senior Management, Board & other such committees (RMC/CRMC) .Ensure regulatory compliance of policies & processes for Retail portfolio .Coordination with key stakeholders for managing IAD/RBI audits Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is: .CA/MBA/B.E./B.Tech, etc. .Credit orientation .Analytical aptitude .Passion for technology and finance Role Proficiencies: .Conceptual knowledge of credit risk .Should have strong problem solving mindset .Readiness to learn new things without inhibition - be it technical or functional .Should have good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills .Should have high level of motivation and be a fast learner .Proficient in analysing data & comfortable using analytical tools like Tableau, SAS, Python, etc.
