Job Description Job Title: Operations Data Analyst Location: DLF Cybercity, Porur, Chennai- India Experience: 3 - 6 Years About the Job: We are creating a professional and result-oriented Operations Data Analytics team in Tonik. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that will drive improvements and efficiencies across various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: To be a data-adept: when the data needs are first before physiological needs in the Maslov pyramid. Data Analysis: - Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs). - Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and present findings to relevant teams. - Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems Reporting: - Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations. - Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations Predictive Analytics: - Build and maintain predictive models to forecast operational metrics and trends. - Use statistical techniques to analyze historical data and predict future outcomes. - Capacity planning Data Collection and Management: - Collect, clean, and maintain operational data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems. - Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Process Improvement: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities based on data insights. - Assist in designing and implementing process changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Data Integrity and Security: - Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of sensitive operational data. - Follow best practices for data handling and compliance with relevant regulations. Continuous Learning: - Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and operations management. Qualifications: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Advanced level in MS Power BI (creating new reports from scratch) and SQL (creating DataMart's, data preprocessing). Strong MS Excel knowledge. Also, Python skills will be an advantage for candidates, but they are not a must-have. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Management). Proven experience as a data analyst or related role in a bank Critical thinking to determine what data and information is useful for the task Problem-solving skills to find multiple viable solutions for a challenge Excellent communication and presentation skills (Power BI & PowerPoint confident user) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of operations management concepts is a plus.
