We are a fast-growing global B2B SaaS company in the media tech space, providing solutions that empower journalists/media professionals, agencies, and enterprises to monitor, analyse, and distribute content across platforms with precision and impact. Our clients range from PR firms to corporate communications teams for large corporations, and government agencies.

As we expand our footprint in India, we are looking for an experienced and driven senior sales professionals based in Chennai to lead client acquisition and revenue growth in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Ownership

• Independently manage the entire sales lifecycle — from prospecting and lead qualification to demo, proposal, negotiation, and closure.

• Strategically identify and engage high-value prospects in the media, communications, and enterprise sectors.

• Understand client pain points and propose customised SaaS solutions based on our product suite.

Client Engagement & Retention

• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to drive renewals, upsells, and referrals.

• Work closely with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction and post-sale onboarding.

Mentorship & Team Support

• Mentor junior sales team members, helping them build prospecting skills, refine sales pitches, and close deals more effectively.

• Share best practices with the broader team and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.

Market Intelligence

• Stay up to date with trends in media technology, digital transformation, and enterprise SaaS adoption.

• Provide feedback to product teams on client needs and market demands.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENEC

• 5 to 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in SaaS, media tech, or enterprise software.

• Proven track record of independently closing complex deals with mid-level to large enterprises.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.

• Tech savy with a strong understanding of sales tools and CRM platforms (Zoho CRM experience is a plus).

• Bachelor's/master's degree in business, communications, media, or a related field.

PREFERRED

• Prior experience in media, communications, PR tech, or digital tools for content monitoring/distribution.

• Exposure to the Indian media landscape.

• Ability to speak Hindi/Tamil and at least one other regional language (not mandatory).

• New client acquisition and revenue targets

• Sales cycle efficiency and conversion rates

• Client retention and account growth

• Team mentoring effectiveness (measured via feedback and performance uplift)
