Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

-Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for goods and services.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing.

- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company.

- Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes related to quality, delivery, or costs.

Procurement Planning and Execution:

-Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, and Production) to understand procurement needs.

- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with business requirements and budget constraints.

- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions.

- Ensure timely delivery of products and services as per agreed schedules.

Cost Management:

-Monitor and analyze market trends to secure the most cost-effective solutions.

- Manage procurement budgets, ensuring purchases stay within allocated limits.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Inventory and Stock Management:

-Track and maintain accurate inventory records.

- Ensure that inventory levels are optimized to meet operational requirements without overstocking.

- Work with logistics to track deliveries and manage stock levels effectively.

Compliance and Documentation:

-Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, orders, and other procurement records for auditing purposes.

- Prepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance for senior management.

Required Skills:

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze and interpret market trends and procurement data.

- Knowledge of procurement software and MS Office Suite.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
