Company Overview Podar Education Network with a legacy since 1927 is a leader in the Indian educational sector committed to holistic and empowering learning experiences With 139 institutions nationwide and headquarters in Mumbai Podar focuses on integrity and innovation in education Join Podar s large family of schools offering diverse educational streams supported by over 7 800 dedicated staff and serving more than 2 00 000 students Job Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Administrative Officer for a full-time position in Udupi The role involves overseeing office administration managing facilities and ensuring efficient transportation Podar Education Network offers a dynamic environment to contribute to educational excellence through strategic administration and support services Qualifications and Skills Office administration expertise to maintain and organize office operations and procedures ensuring an efficient working environment Mandatory skill Deep understanding of facility management including maintenance of buildings and equipment to support daily operations Mandatory skill Proficient in transportation management ensuring effective scheduling routing and vehicle maintenance for seamless school operations Mandatory skill Ability to handle vendor management including negotiation billing and ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality Experience in compliance monitoring to adhere to legal and institutional policies ensuring all activities meet set guidelines Sound procurement skills to oversee purchasing processes ensuring quality and cost-efficiency in acquiring necessary resources Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff vendors and other stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address and resolve unexpected administrative or logistical issues as they arise Roles and Responsibilities Manage day-to-day administrative activities encompassing office organization paperwork and correspondence handling efficiently Oversee facility operations ensuring all school properties are well-maintained and comply with health and safety regulations Coordinate transportation services planning logistics to support timely and smooth transport of students and staff Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services maintaining productive partnerships Ensure adherence to compliance standards routinely reviewing policies to align with current regulations and industry best practices Supervise the procurement and allocation of resources ensuring all departments have the necessary equipment to function optimally Prepare and manage budgets for administrative operations ensuring financial prudence and effective allocation of funds Implement strategies for continual improvement of administrative processes leveraging technology to enhance productivity and efficiency
