The IT Help Desk Technician at SkySun plays a vital role in providing technical support to our staff and ensuring a smooth and efficient IT experience. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving end-user issues, maintaining IT documentation, and contributing to the overall improvement of our technology systems. If you are passionate about technology and customer service, we want you on our team Key Responsibilities - Respond promptly to user inquiries and support requests through various channels. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and peripherals. - Provide support for common software applications and corporate tools. - Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system for future reference. - Assist in setting up new equipment, including installation and configuration. - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication. - Assist with IT projects and system updates as necessary. - Train and onboard new employees on IT systems and tools. - Keep an inventory of IT equipment and perform audits as needed. Requirements Requirements - Experience: 3-5 years in IT support or technical help desk role. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems. - Understanding of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN). - Familiarity with common business software such as Microsoft Office and cloud applications. - Experience with ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting tools. - Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Strong customer service orientation and patience. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. - Education: - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. - Certifications: - CompTIA A+, ITIL, or similar certification is desirable.
