Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications SAP BASIS Administration to join our Deployment APD -CAT IT Division Bangalore Team The incumbent is accountable for ensuring SAP applications both on premise and cloud based are installed and functioning as per requirements Responsibilities includes installing and configuring technical components Basis collaborates with Functional Middleware Development and Security teams to ensure secure and stable Performance monitoring system upgrades code migration and integrations are included in the services provided The preference for this role is to be based out of PSN Whitefield office Bangalore What you will do Job Roles and Responsibilities Environment design capacity forecast and implementation of Infrastructure Storage Database components Software configuration implementation Performance monitoring and tuning High Availability and Disaster Recovery Services Maintain backup and recovery strategies and processes Print Management Environment and Transport Management Level 4 Troubleshooting Hana Database administration Maintain and Adhering to Information Technology and SOX controls and processes Shift Timing- 01 00PM -10 00PM IST What you will have Bachelor s degree or equivalent job-related work experience 6 plus years Basis admin experience Broad knowledge in Linux and shell scripting Strong Command of SQL and SAP Basis Admin Tools Hana Cockpit Hana Studio Solution Manager Landscape Management LaMa etc Top Candidates Will Also Have Hana DBA Certification Basis Administration Certification Experience with SAP on Hyperscalers Strong networking and business acumen skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong Problem-solving skills Skills desired Skill Descriptors Core Application Systems Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations Level Extensive Experience Manages application-related issues implications and approaches with clients Evaluates key interfaces and interdependencies among core applications systems Explains features and benefits of core applications for consideration by business units Implements existing and planned application enhancements in major business units Tracks data flow between own applications and core applications in other business areas Plans enhancement conversion and retirement strategies for core applications Problem Solving Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations Level Extensive Experience Ensures capture of lessons to be learned from a problem-solving effort Organizes potential problem solvers and leads problem resolution efforts Uses varying problem-solving approaches and techniques as appropriate Contributes to standard practices for problem-solving approaches tools and processes Analyzes and synthesizes information and devises alternative resolution strategies Develops successful resolutions to critical or wide-impact problems Application Design Architecture Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design ability to utilize application design methodologies tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design Level Extensive Experience Facilitates in application design reviews and walkthroughs Creates and evaluates technical alternatives for complex applications Interprets application services such as API integrates them with technical design Develops various distinct and multiple technical application designs Prepares technical design documents and blueprints for applications Explores and evaluates application design considerations for multiple technologies Implementation Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks ex accounting or graphic design Level Working Knowledge Tracks problems associated with the quality and effectiveness of application software Researches the benefits and drawbacks of an organization s
