Designation: Sales Development Representative
Experience: 1-3 years experience in outbound SDR role. Prior experience selling to the construction industry is preferred.
Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai (this is not a remote job)
Markets: Experience in India market is a must.
Languages: English and Hindi (both are ***required**)
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a clear understanding of the ideal customer profile, problem space, and the product.
- List building - research online and identify leads matching the qualification criteria. Gather the contact information of key stakeholders.
- Nurturing - nurture leads through email campaigns and linkedin outreach.
- Cold calling and problem validation - reach out to prospects through cold calling. Do problem validation and complete discovery calls.
- Demo - schedule a demo with key stakeholders and the Account Executives.
- Closure support - support the Account Executive in the deal closure.
- Maintain contacts/leads, activities in CRM.
- Continually experiment and refine the pitch, collaterals, and tactics to improve conversion ratios.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Clear communication - Both spoken and written.
- English and Hindi proficiency is required.
- Experience in outbound lead generation in B2B SaaS for min 1 year. or Experience selling to the construction industry for min 1 year.
- Experience in India market is a must. Experience in South East Asia/Middle East Asia markets is a plus.
- Experience in online research and list building/enrichment tactics.
- Consultative sales - understand and clearly articulate value proposition to potential customers.
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejections.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
