Job Description Job Description of CFO Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary finance leader to join our organization as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at our Indore Corporate Office. The CFO will report directly to the Managing Director & Board of Directors and will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in Finance, Accounts, Commercial, Procurement, and Logistics functions across all plants and business units. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Planning Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term capital planning Fundraising & Investor Relations Debt, equity, and banking relationships Cost Optimization & Profitability Working capital management, cost control initiatives Corporate Governance & Compliance Statutory audits, taxation, risk management ERP & MIS Implementation Strong knowledge of SAP/Oracle/ERP systems Business Expansion Support M&A, new projects, and JV evaluations Logistics & Procurement Leadership Oversee sourcing strategy, vendor negotiations, freight optimization, and supply chain efficiency Commercial & Operations Alignment Ensure seamless coordination between finance, logistics, and plant operations Leadership & Team Building Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams Negotiation & Stakeholder Management Vendor, investor, and board-level collaboration Qualification & Experience: Chartered Accountant (CA) 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounts, and Commercial functions Proven track record in strategic financial planning, fundraising, risk management, and ERP implementation Experience in manufacturing / fertilizer / chemical / agri-input industry preferred Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Ability to drive business growth, cost optimization, and profitability improvement Skills: Financial Strategy & Planning Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term capital planning Fundraising & Investor Relations Debt, equity, and banking relationships Cost Optimization & Profitability Working capital management, cost control initiatives Corporate Governance & Compliance Statutory audits, taxation, risk management ERP & MIS Implementation Strong knowledge of SAP/Oracle/ERP systems Business Expansion Support M&A, new projects, and JV evaluations Leadership & Team Building Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams Analytical & Decision-Making Skills Data-driven approach for business growth Negotiation & Stakeholder Management Vendor, investor, and board-level collaboration Statutory and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with obtaining statutory clearances and liaising with regulatory bodies.
