Role responsibilities Work in close coordination with Marketing PPC Commercial departments for efficient and timely execution of the customer s orders and ensuring that the stated timelines are met and no liquidated damages is incurred by the company To study the customer orders and make a Work Order incorporating all techno-commercial details of the order to be circulated to all responsible HODs for actions in their respective areas To coordinate with plant PPC and other supporting functions and organize the Kickoff meeting for every project To prepare and circulate the minutes of KOM and follow up with process owners for its compliance To closely monitor and ensure speedy evacuation of finished goods from the plant To ensure prompt billing of dispatched goods to customer as per order terms and conditions To ensure timely development and maintenance of the company dumpsites to store customer s pipes as per customer s requirement and specifications mentioned in the tender document Assess the Client order Contract requirement and manage dump site requirement accordingly Work in close coordination with Marketing to ensure timely realization of pending payments from customers To organize the fortnightly debtors meeting along with Finance and Marketing team to ensure proper tracking of customer payments Work in close coordination with Business Head and develop Logistic Execution plan implement systems and processes for cost efficiency and overall effectiveness in entire Logistic Value Chain Developing robust processes policies for operation of Inbound and outbound logistics and ensure goods are delivered on time adhering to compliance and statutory norms Plan Organize and Negotiating with vendors for Road Rail Surface Logistics Shipping freights etc Coordinate with Commercial Head and ensure all Licenses status FPS DGFT Export-Import documentation certification through inspecting agencies are in place Engage with customs department for any queries at the time bill of entries assessment or Shipping Bills Conversion of Shipping Bill and Issuance of Release Order etc Following with shipping company agents for loading and unloading of cargo status Visiting ports in case of any objection query raised by officials at the time of examination of the cargo Inspect vessel at the time of loading of export cargo break bulk visiting ports for inspection of vessel at the time of import discharge of cargo and delivery to plant Plan Deploy Coordinate Logistics activities at Plant and dump sites Preparing and updating MIS enquiries offer submission pending matters and area of concerns on daily weekly monthly basis Ensure Team Training Development and draw up annual KRAs KPIs for the team To have structured interaction and meetings with cross functional departments such as Marketing Finance PPC etc to meet internal customer s expectations
