Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will:

- Lead end-to-end production operations for the TPU Films division.

- Drive operational excellence, throughput improvement, and cost efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

- Oversee compounding, extrusion, and polymerization processes for specialty TPU films.

- Manage scale-up projects, technology transfers, and plant debottlenecking initiatives.

- Partner with R&D, supply chain, maintenance, and quality teams for seamless operations.

- Champion Industry 4.0, automation, and digital manufacturing practices.

- Lead large teams across shifts, fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

- Holds a B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical, Polymer, Mechanical, or Production Engineering; M.Tech / MBA preferred.

- Brings 18-22 years of relevant production experience, including 12-15 years in senior leadership roles.

- Deep knowledge of polymer processing (extrusion, compounding, pelletizing) and TPU chemistry.

- Experienced in commissioning new lines, managing greenfield/brownfield expansions, and delivering OEE improvements.

- Skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and sustainability practices.

- Strong decision-maker with proven ability to build and manage large teams.
