Job Description Mainframe Developer Job Location: Greater Noida, Pune & Hyderabad Experience Required: 03 to 05 Years Mandatory Skills: Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMSDB, CICS, Endevor, Abend-AID, Control-M, Insurance, Property & Casualty Job Description: - Hands-on experience in COBOL programming, JCL scripting, and CICS transaction processing. - This role involves maintaining and enhancing legacy systems, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS. - Perform impact analysis and code changes for enhancements and production fixes. - Develop and maintain batch and online programs. - Work with DB2 and VSAM for data access and manipulation. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Collaborate with QA and business teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions. - Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA timelines. - Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation. Experience: - 03 to 05 Years of experience in Mainframe technologies. - Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2. - Experience in debugging and resolving production issues. - Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in migration or modernization projects. - Knowledge of tools like Endevor, File-AID, and Abend-AID. - Exposure to scheduling tools like CA-7 or Control-M.
