Job Description Greetings from TCS TCS is hiring for Mainframe Developer Desired Experience: 5 to 10 Years Job Locations: Bangalore/ Chennai/ Hyderabad/ Pune Job Description: - 8 + years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development - Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM and IMS DB/DC. - Knowledge of Mainframe Utilities (Panvalet, Endevor, IDCAMS, SORT, etc.) and scheduling tools (CA7,Control-M) - Familiarity with API enablement, microservice integration or mainframe modernization initiatives. - Experience working in a multi-shore model (onsite-offshore), with excellent communication and mentoring skills. Responsibilities : - Ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles. - Translate business requirements and user stories into technical design documents and specifications. - Conduct technical design and code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with platform best practices. - Act as the go-to technical expert for complex development issues, providing hands-on coding and debugging support when necessary. - Lead the Development process using the standard mainframe tools.
