Hiring: Regional Business Manager (RBM) – Vegetable Seeds | MNC Base Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Experience: 7–10 Years (Vegetable Seeds Industry) Employment Type: Full-time A leading multinational vegetable seeds company is seeking an accomplished Regional Business Manager (RBM) to lead and expand its commercial operations across multiple high-potential markets in India. This role requires a dynamic, growth-driven professional with deep understanding of the vegetable seeds ecosystem, strong dealer/farmer network exposure, and proven experience in managing multi-state business operations. Key Responsibilities - Drive regional business growth, sales planning, and revenue targets across UP, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Haryana–Punjab, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. - Develop and implement state-specific go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives. - Build and strengthen relationships with channel partners, distributors, retailers, and key farmers. - Lead, mentor and monitor state-level sales teams to achieve performance KPIs. - Conduct competitor analysis, market trend assessments, and product positioning activities. - Coordinate with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing teams for product trials, demos, and new product introductions. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the assigned region. - Ensure compliance with company policies, credit management, and documentation standards. Required Qualifications & Experience - 7–10 years of experience in the vegetable seeds industry (mandatory). - Strong knowledge of hybrid vegetable seeds, farmer behavior, market trends, and product performance cycles. - Proven experience in handling multi-state territories with significant business volume. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop markets, and deliver growth. - Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. - Willingness to travel extensively across assigned states. - Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agri-Business Management, or related fields. Desired Attributes - Strong network across distributors, channel partners, and progressive farmers. - Experience in working with MNCs or structured seed companies. - Data-driven approach with strong business acumen. - Ability to manage cross-functional coordination and regional planning. - High ownership mindset with strategic thinking.
