Job Role: Solar Consultant

Function: Sales & Business Development

Business Vertical: Residential - SolarPro Vertical

Reports To: Regional Sales Head / City Manager

Job Type: Individual Contributor

Base Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai

Education: Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

- Field Sales & Customer Engagement: - Conduct an average of 3 daily field meetings, traveling ~50 km across cluster to pitch SolarSquare's solar solutions to residential, commercial, and agricultural clients. - Perform on-ground demos and cold walk-ins to showcase product benefits and close deals.
- Sales Pipeline Management: - Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation and meeting monthly order targets. - Collaborate with marketing for BTL (local workshops, community events) and ATL (digital ads, radio) campaigns to drive customer interest.
- Documentation & Post-Sales Process: - Manage end-to-end documentation for customer onboarding, including subsidy applications (e.g., PM Surya Ghar Yojana) and net-metering agreements. - Ensure smooth post-sales processes, coordinating with installation teams and addressing customer queries to guarantee satisfaction.
- Data Management & Reporting: - Use tools like Google Sheets or CRM platforms to track leads, sales progress, and customer interactions. - Provide regular reports on pipeline status, conversion rates, and market feedback to the Regional Sales Head.

KPI:

- Minimum 3 customer meetings conducted daily (~90 meetings/month).
- Monthly order conversion targets achieved (e.g., 10-15 installations).
- Timely completion of customer documentation and subsidy applications.
- Customer satisfaction score based on post-sales feedback.
