Commis - Italian [High Salary]

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our Italian kitchen team The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes under the supervision of senior chefs ensuring quality consistency and hygiene standards are met at all times Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation cooking and plating of Italian dishes pasta pizza antipasti salads sauces etc Follow recipes portion controls and presentation standards as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef Maintain mise-en-place for the assigned section before and during service Ensure proper storage labeling and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and menu execution Uphold food hygiene safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines Assist with receiving checking and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients Report any maintenance issues or shortages promptly to the supervisor Learn and develop skills in authentic Italian cooking techniques Maintain a positive respectful and team-oriented attitude in the kitchen Requirements Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts Hotel Management 1-3 years of experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen Italian cuisine preferred Basic knowledge of Italian ingredients sauces and cooking methods Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from senior chefs Strong teamwork communication and time-management skills Flexibility to work in shifts weekends and holidays Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene Key Skills Italian Cuisine Basics Food Preparation Plating Kitchen Hygiene Safety Teamwork Discipline Time Management Eagerness to Learn Job Types Full-time Permanent Benefits Provident Fund
