Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of employees across various departments.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.
- Operational Excellence:
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee stock management, including ordering, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Customer Engagement:
- Champion a customer-first culture, resolving complaints and ensuring a high-quality shopping experience.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
- Sales & Financial Management:
- Drive sales growth by analyzing market trends, setting targets, and implementing promotional strategies.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and profit optimization.
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and customer trends to inform business decisions.
- Merchandising & Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events.
- Oversee visual merchandising standards, ensuring attractive product displays and signage.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a hypermarket or large-format store.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and motivation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
