Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn Junior Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. The role primarily supports day-to-day operations related to desktop management, printing services, and basic network access tasks. This is a foundational IT position designed to build hands-on experience and technical growth in workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide basic support for Windows 11 OS installation, updates, and configuration
- Assist with printer installations, queue management, and print server support
- Troubleshoot basic network access issues via wired/wireless access points (APs)
- Respond to user requests, service tickets, and escalate unresolved issues to L1/L2 engineers
- Monitor device health and assist with patching and updates under supervision
- Document issue resolutions and update internal knowledge base
- Help with asset tracking and desktop rollout activities during onboarding or refresh cycles
- Basic familiarity with Windows 11 operating system and user-level troubleshooting
- Understanding of print management: network printer setup, spooler service, and queue troubleshooting

Required Skills:

- Exposure to network access points, Wi-Fi connectivity checks, and SSID configurations
- Strong customer service skills and an eagerness to learn
- Ability to follow procedures and contribute to collaborative support efforts
