Role Description:

The Solution Architect - SAP WMMM is responsible for applying business & technical expertise to design, implement, support the current business capabilities into Cepheid s SAP WM & MM add on application, related SAP modules and third-party systems. In this role, the candidate shallsupportglobal supply chain business team in various areas such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, Inventory Management, Production Supply, and related processes. The applicant should also have broad knowledge of SAP. The applicant should have ability to support advanced business functions, translate complex business requirements into solution designs, and build and implement systems and technical solutions for Operations.

Job Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, MBA (or related) or the equivalent in work experience. Around 12 years of total experience in the Information technology profession focused on SAP ERP design, implementation, and support.
- 8 + years of experience in SAP Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution modules with secondary expertise in Materials Management within manufacturing organizations.
- Deep understanding of the integration with other SAP modules such as PP, SD, FI etc.
- Expertise in other related areas such as Master data (Material Master, Control Cycles, condition records etc.), Stock Transfers, Batch management, Classification, Reporting, Queries etc.
- Experience in design and implementation of handheld devices in warehouse processes such as picking, shipping.
- Experience in working with business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design.
- Strong relationship building skills, internally within IT and with business users.
- Shall have knowledge in handling ITSM tools such as Spirit, ServiceNow etc.

It would be a plus if the candidate possess:

- Experience in Global Trade System and/or Shipping System.
- Experience in design and implementation of EDI interface with 3PL warehouse systems and related business process.

Job Responsibilities:

- Establish relationships with Supply Chain (primarily Logistics, Warehouse, Shipping but also other Operations functions and Quality) and super users globally.
- Collaborate with business users in Supply Chain Dept. and other departments when needed, to gain a deep understanding of their business processes and requirements.
- Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
- Monitor Review and resolve global production system support tickets and ensure tickets are resolved on time & within SLA.
- Update production tickets with root cause, solution notes and align with users on the resolution.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture.
- Configure SAP WM, LE, MM modules (or other modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP best practices.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.
- Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training. Advise users on ways they can improve their use of the SAP solution.
- Maintain good relationship with Business, IT colleagues and work with all relevant stake holders to resolve the tickets on time without breaching SLAs.
- Collaborate with business teams globally to gain a deep understanding of business processes, requirements and develop, test the processes to address business requirements.
- Shall complete all the assigned compliance courses/trainings as per Cepheid Policy & on time.
