Company Description Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods Founded in 1871 the technology company offers safe efficient intelligent and affordable solutions for vehicles machines traffic and transportation In 2023 Continental generated sales of EUR41 4 billion and currently employees around 202 763 people in 57 countries and markets Continental India Private Limited Formerly known as Continental India Limited was founded on July 15 2011 when Continental acquired Modi Tyres Company Private Limited The Continental s plant at Modipuram in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh in India manufactures tires for buses and trucks With a human capital of over 600 Continental India Private Limited manufactures Radial Tyres for passenger cars Coordinate with Plant Functions Plant Manager Plant Controllers Controlling Corporate Manufacturing BU s Accounting CIL and maintain regular communication with Regional Local and Central heads to ensure that all financial strategies align with broader corporate goals through robust communication channels and regular update meetings Defining clear measurable KPIs that link financial metrics with corporate objectives using these KPIs to assess current performance and forecast future growth Leading cross-functional teams to identify areas of waste and inefficiency developing initiatives that promote lean management techniques and cost reduction without compromising quality or productivity Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and suggestions from all internal stakeholders Establishing criteria for evaluating both short-term and long-term investments to ensure alignment with strategic business goals and financial return expectations Implementing a regular review cycle for ongoing and completed investments to assess performance against expected financial outcomes Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS standards Engage with the team for monthly reviews to discuss trends variances and forecasts while implementing robust risk management practices to monitor potential financial uncertainties and develop effective mitigation strategies Supporting and coordinating post-completion audits to ensure that all projects meet the original scope and financial projections Strengthen the company s audit readiness by leading control self-assessments and aligning with global internal audit standards Monitoring cash flows meticulously to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic objectives Optimizing asset management to balance liquidity and returns focusing on turnover rates for receivables and inventory Qualifications Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance Accounting Additional Information Min 5 10 years of experience in the Controlling area Apply Manufacturing cost concepts Use Concept and Introduce new Controlling Instruments Process know how ICO BU Division Connections Process know how budgeting and forecasting Process know how actual cost analysis and variation analysis Management and Guidance of Personnel Ability to work in a high-visibility job Work any hours needed to accomplish job tasks Travel is required Microsoft Office - especially Excel Analytical thinking Knowledge of SAP helpful Ready to drive with Continental Take the first step and fill in the online application
