Your Impact As a Contracts Associate within the Legal Department, you will independently manage contract administration for small to mid-size projects. You'll lead proposal support and risk assessment activities, negotiate and draft contracts, and apply broad knowledge of contract law and administration principles to deliver high-quality results. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and help ensure compliance with Jacobs policies and client requirements. Responsibilities - Support contract reviews and risk assessments for new and existing agreements - Review, draft, and negotiate contracts for small to mid-size projects - Lead proposal phase activities, including compliance checks and risk assessments - Identify and mitigate contractual risks in collaboration with Legal and Risk teams - Maintain and update contract databases, ensuring version control and accuracy - Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and contractual obligations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex contract issues - Contribute to process improvements and best practices in contract administration Here's what you'll need - Minimum qualification LLB law degree from a reputable university - Experience 4-7 years in contract administration, legal support, or related field - Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills - Working knowledge of contract structures, risk management principles, and compliance frameworks - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Ideally, You'll Also Have - Intermediate-level certification in contract management (e.g., NCMA's CPCM or equivalent) - Experience with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Icertis, SAP Ariba) - Exposure to public sector contracting or infrastructure projects - Familiarity with international contracting standards and government regulations Availability This role requires flexible working hours to support global operations and ensure timely project delivery.
