Role Overview
As a Client Onboarding Specialist (Senior Officer), you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth onboarding for Custom Direct Indexing, Institutional, and RIA clients, including those operating under dual contractual arrangements. This role requires a balance of client-facing support, operational execution, and compliance oversight.
You will be responsible for account setup, document validation, compliance checks, and operational readiness, ensuring a seamless transition for new clients into TechGlobals systems while providing exceptional service throughout the onboarding journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate client onboarding across segments (Custom Direct Indexing, Institutional, RIA, Dual Contracts).
- Capture and validate client/account details via Client Information Forms (CIF) and supporting documents.
- Draft and manage onboarding documents, contracts, and client packages; liaise with Legal & Compliance teams for review and approvals.
- Configure and provision client access in systems such as EAP, NAO, InvestCloud, PMR, Aladdin, CRD, APL, Perform, and billing/reporting platforms.
- Support due diligence processes: KYC, AML, CDD, and EDD, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure account creation, funding, securities transfers, and trading readiness post-onboarding.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare near-time onboarding status reports for stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve onboarding challenges to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction during the onboarding process.
Professional & Technical Skills
Mandatory:
- Proven expertise in client onboarding processes including account opening, document review, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, CDD, EDD).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client and internal coordination.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to validate data accurately.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of financial services and investment management processes.
- Experience with client/account management systems (InvestCloud, NAO, PMR, etc.).
- Familiarity with order management systems (Aladdin, CRD, APL, Perform).
- Strong analytical skills for process improvement and discrepancy resolution.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in client onboarding, compliance, or financial services (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
