About Company Enerparc Power Trading Pvt Ltd is the trading arm of Enerparc Energy Pvt Ltd Enerparc India one of the country s leading Independent Power Producers IPP and EPC companies with a proven track record in solar and hybrid renewable energy projects As part of the global Enerparc Group headquartered in Germany we draw on the expertise of Sunnic Lighthouse GmbH Enerparc s dedicated trading company in Europe Sunnic is among the continent s leading renewable energy traders managing more than 6 GW of solar and wind assets across exchanges OTC markets and bilateral contracts Building on this strong global foundation Enerparc Power Trading has been established to capture opportunities in India s evolving power markets driven by renewable growth open access reforms and the increasing demand from commercial and industrial consumers Our vision is to replicate Sunnic s success in India while creating innovative trading solutions anchored in Enerparc India s growing renewable portfolio Website Headquarters Hamburg Germany India Office Bangalore Job Title Senior Manager Assistant General Manager - Business Development - Power Trading Job Location Remote - Reporting to Bangalore Reports to Vice President AGM Type Permanent - On-role Job Summary The Business Development Lead - South India will be responsible for expanding Enerparc Power Trading s customer and generator portfolio with a balanced focus on power exchange trades and OTC bilateral contracts The role involves acquiring new clients structuring PPAs engaging with regulators and utilities and driving cross-selling opportunities across Enerparc India s offerings IPP EPC O M BESS and Green PPAs The position requires strong market knowledge regulatory awareness and proven expertise in power trading business development Roles Responsibilities 1 Client Generator Acquisition Onboard new customers C I DISCOMs Captive Users and renewable generators for both power exchange trades and OTC bilateral contracts Build long-term relationships with clients focusing on structured PPAs open access and bilateral arrangements 2 Trading Deal Origination Originate and solicit trades for Power Exchanges Day Ahead Term Ahead RTM G-TAM and OTC markets Drive bilateral and medium long-term trading opportunities in South India Support structuring of customized deals including green attributes RECs I-RECs Carbon Credits 3 Market Development Strategy Track market developments competitor activity and regulatory updates SERC CERC SLDC RLDC Formulate state-specific market views on demand supply and pricing Conduct impact assessments of regulatory changes on trading opportunities 4 Cross-Selling of Enerparc Solutions Collaborate with Enerparc India teams to cross-sell across business lines IPP projects EPC services O M solutions Battery Energy Storage and Green Corporate PPAs Identify opportunities to bundle trading services with other Enerparc offerings for enhanced customer value 5 Stakeholder Engagement Engage with regulators utilities DISCOMs and industry associations to build strong networks and ensure business visibility Represent the company at workshops conferences and client seminars 6 MIS Reporting Prepare regular MIS reports for management on market trends trading performance and pipeline Contribute to strategic planning and revenue forecasting Skills and Qualifications Postgraduate in Engineering Business Administration Energy or Power 10 years of power trading experience preferably with reputed trading companies Proven track record in customer and generator acquisition Expertise in open access regulations bilateral trading and PPAs Strong negotiation stakeholder engagement and presentation skills Ability to develop and execute regional business plans Willingness to travel extensively in South India Certifications in Power Trading Energy Markets will be an added advantage Experience in CRM Tools is expected What to expect Our company is growing rapidly and is looking to expand and this role will help achieve that goal You will be reporting to Bangalore Head office Travel shall form a part of the role and company will provide travel and accommodation for such business trips Excellent professional and personal growth Mentorship Work in a team environment Interact with other disciplinaries including cross country
