Job Purpose

RAN Operation is a specialized skill Job & considering Installed base size, No. of OEM, various Technologies & type of Equipment available in the Network:

- To maintain RNA above 99.5%, 16 Circles meeting 4G RNA & 80% Top 10 cities meeting RNA KPI
- To maintain RAN Controller Node SA faults Less than 1 P1 Incident per week, NSA faults below 40 & to maintain, Weekly P1 & P2 Incident governance
- To maintain Active Outage 4G & 5G ( 5%), 2G ( 8%) in 18 circles, highlighting factors impacting RNA
- To maintain 5 Alarm per Cell, to maintain 300 VSWR, 500 FAN & 500 Temp. alarms Nationally, not exceeding 100 for individual circle. Drive Low voltage Alarms improvement & protecting HW
- Drive & Support Circle to maintain Site hygiene as per PM Cycle
- Procurement & re-allocation of spares, re-claim RNP unit & governance, RNP Reduction program, Vendor escalation, Quarterly sign-off & replenishment, to co-ordinate with CODE for Spares ordering & fulfilment for circles
- OSS & RAN Node Consolidation & Legacy Node Shutdownas per CODE directives
- Pilot, Upgrade & maintain network on latest SW, driving quick rollout to get benefits of new SW, Regulatory reporting
- EME & CARE case handling & Periodic OEM Governance
- To create new & Optimize existing Operational process periodically
- Support SNOC & Circles & co-ordination with CODE for Operational requirements
- To track & maintain records of all Governance point & Risk registers

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

- Drive to maintain healthy RAN network with 99.5% availability, ensure that all future & functionalities are available
- Provide technical guidance to Circles & NOC
- Drive Operational Hygiene & Process improvement
- Circle & OEM governance
- Software life cycle & compatibility Management, timely rollout of new SW, feature & functionalities

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

- 15years of multi-technology multi-vendor experience in the area of RAN Operations (wireless domain) including IP & Transport Technologies.
- Sound Knowledge on 2G / 4G / 5G technologies & different Equipment vendor interworking.
- Knowledge on OEM wise different type Baseband & Radio Units products, Installation practice & Fault rectification process
- Ability to co-ordinate foroperational activities with multipleinternal and external stakeholders
- Strong in chasing & driving improvement agenda with action owner & closure within time line.
- Experience on process creation, governance & customer experience improvement initiatives with Strong vendor and partner management skills.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in Electronics and/or Telecommunications
- Min15 years of recent field experience of multivendor and multi-technology networks.
- Hands on RAN working experience from 2G / 4G / 5G technologies
- Good Presentation & Analysis skill
