Housekeeping & Maintenance Supervisor

The Housekeeping and Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and manage the housekeeping and maintenance staff ensuring the cleanliness safety and overall maintenance of the premises The supervisor is responsible for assigning duties inspecting work maintaining inventory and coordinating with other departments to ensure a clean well-maintained and safe environment for all occupants Key Responsibilities - Supervision Staff Management - Lead train and supervise a team of housekeeping and maintenance staff - Assign daily tasks monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures - Conduct regular meetings with the team to address issues updates and training needs - Schedule shifts and allocate resources efficiently to ensure all areas are properly covered - Quality Control Inspection - Conduct regular inspections of rooms common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met - Identify areas needing special attention or repairs and take corrective actions - Monitor and evaluate the performance of the housekeeping team providing feedback and guidance as needed - Maintenance Oversight - Supervise and assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of the property including plumbing electrical HVAC and other building systems - Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance when necessary - Ensure that all equipment and cleaning supplies are properly maintained and stored - Inventory Management - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies linens and maintenance tools - Order and replenish supplies as needed keeping within the department s budget - Keep accurate records of stock levels and usage ensuring cost-effective resource management - Health Safety Compliance - Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards - Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure the well-being of staff and guests - Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure proper documentation - Customer Service - Address and resolve any housekeeping or maintenance-related concerns from guests or residents - Ensure a positive experience for all occupants by maintaining a clean and functional environment Qualifications - Experience - 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping and maintenance with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role - Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures materials and equipment - Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC systems and general maintenance - Skills - Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills - Proficiency in using scheduling and inventory management software is an advantage - Education - High school diploma or equivalent is required - Certification in facility management or maintenance-related fields is a plus Working Conditions - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the facility - Physically able to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed and stand or walk for extended periods Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 19 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience total work 1 year Preferred Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Willingness to travel 25 Preferred Work Location In person
