Job Title House Keeping Supervisor Location Kottayam Thalayolaparambu Employment Type Full-Time Experience Required Minimum 3-5 Years The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily housekeeping operations within the hospital to ensure a clean safe sanitary and welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff This role ensures compliance with infection control standards and hospital policies while supervising and supporting the housekeeping staff Key Responsibilities Supervise housekeeping staff including assigning tasks monitoring performance and ensuring coverage across all hospital areas Inspect patient rooms operating theaters public areas and staff facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met Train new and existing housekeeping staff on hospital cleaning protocols safety procedures and infection control practices Coordinate schedules time-off requests and shift coverage to maintain optimal staffing levels Ensure compliance with hospital policies local health regulations and safety and sanitation standards Liaise with nursing and administrative departments to ensure timely and effective cleaning of patient rooms discharges and emergency response areas Investigate and resolve housekeeping complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner Maintain records of inspections staff performance inventory and any incidents Support environmental sustainability and waste management initiatives where applicable Report maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department promptly Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in housekeeping in a healthcare or hospital setting with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Interested candidates may submit their updated CV and relevant documents to hrmercyhospitalpothy gmail com Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
