Job Description Job Description The Head of Insurance Consulting will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of the practice, leading a team of skilled consultants, and delivering high-value solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a strong consulting background, and proven leadership experience. Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for the Insurance Consulting practice, ensuring alignment with Capgemini Invent's global objectives and market strategies. - Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of consultants, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Foster an environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing. - Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the insurance sector, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services. - Project Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of consulting projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, are delivered on time, and adhere to budget constraints. - Thought Leadership: Establish Capgemini Invent as a thought leader in the insurance industry by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and engaging in relevant forums. - Business Development: P&L Responsibility of the Industry vertical and to meet business targets and KPIs defined by Invent, Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, crafting compelling value propositions, and leading client pitches. - Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to provide insightful advice to clients and inform service offerings. - Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient management of the consulting practice's operations, including resource allocation, financial performance, and quality assurance. Our Ideal Candidate - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) is highly desirable. - Experience: A minimum of 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with significant consulting experience. Familiarity with the Indian insurance market and global insurance trends is essential. - Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing teams, with a track record of fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including market dynamics, regulatory environments, and technological advancements. - Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities, capable of addressing complex business challenges with strategic and practical solutions. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. - Client-Focused: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
