Hi, This is Prashant From Triunity Software Inc Follow Me on Linkedin- https://www.linkedin.com/in/usaprashantrathore/ Title – DevOps Engineer Core Banking – FIS Profile Core (GTM/MUMPS) Location – India - Remote Key responsibilities include: - Supporting large Banking core infrastructure running Linux in AWS. - Work closely with a team of developers, database engineers, to understand and anticipate the agile infrastructure needs of the development and testing processes; create an environment where development and QA work can proceed securely, efficiently, and flexibly. - Anticipate infrastructure growth as the business grows to plan and lead core infrastructure scaling. - Improve the continuous testing and deployment processes. - Work heavily using Docker/CoreOS/Kubernetes/Saltsack/Terraform for configuration management/Kafka Consumers. - Work closely with other engineers to provide infrastructure guidance to the team for short-term issues and long-term planning and vision. - Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, excellence and a fun work environment - Perform FIS Profile banking system support for Production and Non-production environments from infrastructure and application level - Plan and perform Core banking release management - Create and maintain automation scripts for application support - Create and maintain monitoring tools for Real-Time and EOD processes - Perform application governance and compliance related tasks like Disaster Recovery, Access Reviews, Application audit support etc. - Provide off hours production systems support as and when scheduled and required - Collaborate with various operations team partners within the bank and provide day to day production support - Provide tooling to support and improve developer productivity Requirements: 5+ years of experience in most of the requirements below is desired. - Experience in hosted services/applications on Linux platforms and basic administration skills supporting linux server. We use Amazon Linux 2 - Proficiency in GTM Database configuration and maintenance including - GT.M processing in the cloud and associated security considerations - GT.M database management utilities like mupip, dse,gde - Replication and promoting instances - Expertise in support native message queue for profile-core in MTM - Understanding Message Queue systems like MQ,AMQ, KAFKA - Experienced in stack trace and core dump analysis using various debugger tools and native linux system stat utilities. - Demonstrated proficiency writing complex scripts in a standard scripting language (Bourne shell, Python, etc). - Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, AZ, VPC, S3, KMS, IAM, VPC, Security groups, Cloudwatch, Route53, ELB - Extensive knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies. - Experience supporting high availability and/or high traffic web environments. - Experience with continuous deployment. - Experience or thorough understanding of configuration management concepts. - Working knowledge of basic networking concepts, firewall, RPC, application configs and interaction Plusses - Experience with cloud infrastructure management using IaC tools like Terraform - Prior experience of supporting production scale Gtm Mumps environments - Banking domain concepts and such core systems exposure - Knowledge and experience with Setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, especially EBS volumes and IOPs scaling - Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and Consul KV, CoreOs, AWS Linux, Redis, Kafka and ActiveMQ - Experience using distributed source code management tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab - Knowledge of Atlassian’s suite of tools, JIRA, Confluence, - Familiarity with managing and configuring monitoring tools, such as PagerDuty, OpsGenie, New Relic, Rollbar, ELK Stack, Coralogix and DataDog. - Understanding best practices in architecting high availability systems, and security in an AWS context Personal Attributes of the Ideal Candidate Include - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growing company. - Enthusiasm for solving challenging problems. - Team attitude: a willingness to roll up your sleeves, work with others and get stuff done. - Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
