Job Description Regional Head University Partnerships (Central India) - Base Location: Ahmedabad / Pune - Department: Sales & Business Development About WeXL AI: - WeXL AI is an AI-powered EdTech company revolutionizing educational assessment and language proficiency testing across India. Our flagship products, Bharat English Test and FluentEdge, empower universities to enhance their students career readiness and communication skills through innovative AI technology. Role Overview: - The Regional Head University Partnerships (Central India) will be a key sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing and expanding strategic partnerships with universities and higher education institutions in Central India. This role demands aggressive sales planning, execution, and leadership to meet ambitious sales targets. Extensive regional travel will be integral to fostering deep client relationships and closing large deals. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement a high-impact sales strategy to acquire and grow university partnerships across Central India. - Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with top-tier universities, colleges, and educational bodies. - Build and maintain robust relationships with senior academic leadership and decision-makers to negotiate and close high-valuecontracts. - Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor sales pitches and presentations addressing client needs. - Regularly conduct on-ground visits, demos, and presentations across the region to drive adoption and upsell opportunities. - Track and report sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. - Represent WeXL AI at academic forums, industry conferences, and government liaison meetings to boost brand presence and leadgeneration. Desired Profile - 58 years of proven sales experience, preferably in SAAS sales, EdTech, education services, or B2B institutional sales. - Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and handling large contract negotiations with educational institutions. - Deep understanding of the Central India higher education landscape and key decision-makers. - Exceptional communication, persuasion, and closing skills. - Experience in leading and motivating sales teams across multiple locations. - Willingness to travel extensively across Central India. - Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields. - MBA or equivalent advanced degreeisaplus.
