Science Engineering background to join our DTx Digital Therapeutics team The role involves conducting IP Intellectual Property search IP due diligence report preparation patent drafting prosecution activities with expertise in wearable devices medical devices connected apps software and other digital spaces Roles Responsibilities You will be responsible for devising search strategies and conducting searches for identified opportunities ideas This includes identifying blocking patents studying prosecution history PH and legal status to provide appropriate solutions You will identify regulatory-related blocks and offer suitable solutions providing primary solutions and preparing patent landscape reports Presenting the findings to stakeholders is also part of your responsibilities You will be responsible for identifying relevant and concerned patents assessing their legal status and preparing FTO Formulation Technology Organization reports This includes studying PH and precedence cases to develop mitigation strategies Your role involves preparing draft opinions relevant reports monitoring the prosecution litigation status of competitors patent landscapes and proposing appropriate measures to mitigate risks You will also build search queries conduct searches in various patent and non-patent databases prepare patentability reports identify White space for the proposed program technology report identified opportunities in a structured manner and propose IP filing options You will be responsible for proposing new IP filing options identifying data points and coordinating with inventors for data collection reviewing Invention Disclosure Forms IDFs identify first-cut invention hooks and preparing necessary patent compliance documentation when filing IP in various jurisdictions You will be responsible for preparing preliminary patent drafts based on identified inventions coordinating closely with external counsels throughout the filing studying and preparing draft responses for office actions completing necessary forms for filing patent applications and coordinating with the Indian Patent Office You will collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders maintain patent dockets in the CPI database track all annuity payments and provide timely instructions You will be responsible for evaluating alternative IP filing options including Design Trademark or Copyright Your duties will involve close coordination with legal and other stakeholders to manage the filing prosecution and maintenance of such intellectual property rights IPRs You will actively track the activities and IP filings of competitors and relevant players providing timely reports to stakeholders and monitor technology landscapes for updates You will be responsible for coordinating with relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary publication clearance managing all publication databases providing support in clearance processes and tracking all associated costs and assisting the finance team in processing invoices QualificationsEducational qualification A B Tech in Electronics or Computer Science a qualified Indian Patent Agent and or PG Diploma in patents law is preferredMinimum work experience 6 to 9 years in IPSkills attributes Technical Skills Proficiency in devising IP search strategies and conduct comprehensive searches Capability to identify blocking IP and contribute to building an effective IP strategy Experience in preparing various IP reports such as FTO patentability and other relevant analyses Ability to prepare preliminary patent drafts manage the filing process and engage in patent prosecution activities to protect IP Skill in tracking the technology and IP space providing Competitive Intelligence CI inputs to support strategic decision-making Ability to support in securing other IPRs such as Design Trademark and Copyright publication activities and CI initiatives related to IP Behavioural Skills Proficiency in addressing complex challenges through analytical thinking and effective problem-solving Effective communication and interpersonal skills fostering collaboration and understanding Ability to identify opportunities and take prompt action displaying a proactive approach Ability to think strategically and critically connecting the dots to innovate for unmet needs Ability to acquire new skills and is
