Job Description

About Us:

iRefill is an early-stage startup developing smart IoT-based refill and reuse systems to reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions. We design and deploy intelligent dispensers for products like edible oils, grains, milk, and homecare liquids, helping retailers and consumers switch to sustainable refill solutions.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate R&D Intern with a background in Electronics and Automation to join our team. In this role, you will work on developing, testing, and improving our IoT-connected dispensing systems, integrating hardware with backend software, and contributing to innovative product features.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits and control systems.
- Work with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, STM32) for dispenser automation.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules into prototypes.
- Collaborate with the software team to ensure smooth hardwarebackend integration.
- Troubleshoot and debug electronic systems and improve performance.
- Document designs, test results, and project progress.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded programming (C/C++/Python).
- Experience with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, etc.).
- Basic PCB design and circuit simulation skills.
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and motor control.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic hardware and firmware.

Additional Preferences:

- Previous experience in IoT or automation projects.
- Knowledge of cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT, ThingsBoard, Blynk, etc.).
- Passion for sustainability and innovative problem-solving.

Internship Details:

- Duration: 36 months
- Stipend: Performance-based
- Location: Indore (On-site at iRefill)
