A field sales executive in the marble and plywood industry drives sales by meeting clients and building relationships with distributors architects builders and contractors The role involves extensive travel within a designated territory requiring deep product knowledge and strong interpersonal skills Core responsibilities Business development Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by targeting potential customers including architects builders contractors and interior designers Relationship management Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers to secure repeat business Sales strategy Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets for marble plywood and related products Client meetings Travel to client locations and construction sites to conduct product presentations and demonstrations Negotiation and closing Discuss pricing specifications and contract terms with clients to close profitable sales deals Market intelligence Gather and analyze market and competitor information to help inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities Reporting Track sales activities manage customer data in a CRM system and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management Key skills and qualifications Proven sales experience A track record of success in field sales preferably within the building materials or construction industry Product knowledge In-depth understanding of the different types and applications of marble plywood laminates and veneers Excellent communication The ability to present product features clearly and persuasively and to listen actively to customer needs Negotiation skills Confidence and skill in negotiating pricing and terms to close deals Resilience The ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive determined attitude in a target-driven environment Time management Strong organizational skills to manage a territory prioritize tasks and schedule meetings efficiently Self-motivation A high level of initiative and ambition to work independently in the field and meet sales quotas CRM proficiency Familiarity with customer relationship management CRM software to track leads manage accounts and report on sales activity Driving skills A valid driver s license and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory are essential Industry-specific challenges Long sales cycles Deals in this industry especially large-scale projects can take a long time to close High competition Staying competitive means differentiating products based on quality service and value not just price Getting to the decision-maker Sales executives may have to navigate gatekeepers to reach the architects builders or contractors who make final purchasing decisions Market fluctuations Economic conditions and material prices can impact budgets and affect sales performance Balancing travel and admin The need to spend significant time on the road meeting clients must be balanced with administrative tasks like reporting Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Experience sales-plywood 3 years Required sales marble 3 years Required Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
