Summary This role requires to support the implementation of EHS programs along with compliance of EPR and Environmental regulatory requirements or the site Company Overview Working at GE Aerospace means you are bringing your unique perspective innovative spirit drive and curiosity to a collaborative and diverse team working to advance aerospace for future generations If you have ideas we will listen Join us and see your ideas take flight Site Overview Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility MMF in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components supporting not only India s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains Our relationships with Indian suppliers combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach continue to shape India s aerospace ecosystem Roles and Responsibilities Individuals located at Pune MMF manufacturing site that provide day-to-day EHS support for that facility Ensure adherence to local state and central EHS regulations Factories Act MPCB CPCB PESO etc Drive the EPR compliance for the site by working with various stakeholders Assist in implementation of waste management water management air emission monitoring program for the site as per regulatory requirements Managing the day today operations of the ETP and STP operations of the site Support sustainability initiatives as per the corporate and government guidelines Conduct regular safety inspections audits and risk assessments Investigate incidents determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions Support implementation of HIRA and Aspect Impact assessment for the site Monitor PPE Compliance contractor safety safe work practices on the shop floor Conduct EHS trainings for new employees contractors and existing employees Support the building a positive safety culture among employees and contractors Basic understanding of key business drivers uses this understanding to accomplish own work Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions parameters A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team For customer facing roles develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE Explains technical information to others Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy strategy May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills Ideal Candidate Passionate EHS Professional with experience of ensuring compliance of EPR and Environment Regulations in Manufacturing Industry Required Qualifications BE BTech MTech in Environment Engg Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety Preferred Qualifications Experience working with ISO45001 14001 50001 standards Strong knowledge of EPR Environment Regulations Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Whether we are manufacturing components for our engines driving innovation in fuel and noise reduction or unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver more productivity our GE Aerospace teams are dedicated and making a global impact Join us and help move the aerospace industry forward Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided Yes
