Job Description We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) and oversee the development and management of the Agency POS Channel within the assigned geography. The role focuses on driving sales growth, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong engagement and productivity levels among POS agents. Key Responsibilities: Agency Channel / POS Development - Support employees in sourcing and servicing POS agents as per the agreed mix and policy. - Drive Agency Channel/POS development within the assigned location. - Coordinate with the operations team for pre-licensing, training, and licensing processes. - Conduct induction training and collaborate with the sales training team for ongoing product sessions. - Maintain the agreed mix of new and existing POS agents. - Develop and execute strategies to tap into various market segments. Agency Channel / POS Management - Monitor agent performance across key metrics such as renewals, fresh database, funnel management, and closures. - Maintain a high active percentage of POS agents. - Control attrition rates and ensure agent productivity. - Manage engagement levels and strengthen relationships with POS agents. Channel Servicing & Profitability - Handle reconciliation of partner accounts and coordinate with internal departments for resolution. - Work on market dynamics to provide strategic feedback for organizational improvement. - Manage and optimize loss ratios to ensure profitability. Compliance & Hygiene - Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance with external authorities. - Manage cheque bounce recoveries and oversee business pendencies. Qualification: - MBA from a recognized business school or university degree. - Minimum 6+ years of experience in Insurance Agency Sales (preferably in Life or Health Insurance).
