**Key Responsibilities**

- Follow up with clients or vendors regarding outstanding balances.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Reconcile company bank statements with accounting records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- **Preparation of Financial Statements**:

- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
- Support senior accountants or finance managers during audits and reporting periods.
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Help ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST, VAT, TDS).
- Prepare documentation for tax filings and liaise with auditors.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual expenses against budgeted figures.
- **Software Use**:

- Utilize accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP.
- Generate reports and dashboards as needed.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
