Associate IS Engineer

In this vital role, you will be an Associate IS Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs. Your primary focus will be on Veeva Clinical Operations Vault applications, where you will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong rapid prototyping skills and a passion for ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Software Development & Prototyping: Design, develop, and implement applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements for Veeva Clinical Operations Vault. You will possess strong rapid prototyping skills to quickly translate concepts into working code.
- Technical Analysis & Design: Analyze and understand the functional and technical requirements of Veeva Clinical Operations Vault applications, solutions, and systems.
- Operations & Maintenance: Contribute to the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Veeva Clinical Operations Vault applications. This includes automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.
- Quality & Compliance: Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software quality, following IS change control and GxP Validation processes. You will also maintain detailed documentation of software designs and development processes.
- Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software on time. You will also work on integrating with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years of experience or a Diploma with 4-7 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault configuration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript (preferred), or other programming languages.
- A strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- A solid understanding of and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with relational databases (such as MySQL, SQL server) is a plus.
- Experience with API integrations, such as MuleSoft, is a plus.
- Experience in managing GxP systems and implementing GxP projects is a plus.
- SAFe for Teams, MuleSoft certified developer, or Vault Platform Administrator certifications are preferred.
