with BIM capability as a supporting skill not the driver This individual must be able to interpret and draw information into the model in a technically sound engineering-led manner using the model as both a design coordination tool and a powerful medium of communication The ideal candidate will serve as a design integrator -someone who can think in 3D proactively identify and resolve technical coordination challenges and lead strategic planning discussions before modelling begins They will be instrumental in bringing engineers together to define strategies establish design intent and enable seamless coordination across disciplines ensuring that modelling is efficient integrated and robust from the outset Key Responsibilities As a Task Team Senior PHE at Arup you will be responsible for Ensure the PHE design model is fully coordinated with other services with respect to clearance access maintenance and constructability considerations Review the PHE models including domestic water drainage sprinklers etc Responsible for 3D coordination of Plumbing services with other disciplines through Autodesk Revit Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud ensuring fully integrated design solutions Collaborate closely with Plumbing design engineers to ensure integrated design solutions are developed from the conceptual stage through to detailed design stage Represent the client and other stakeholders in coordination meetings presenting and defending the PHE design coordination Ensure the highest quality for the PHE design model submissions in accordance with Project standards client requirements and the BIM execution plan Perform Quality Assurance and Control checks on models within geometrical and parametric compliance with the Project s BIM requirements Prepare discipline model and or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings Required Qualifications Experience Minimum Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field Extensive experience in PHE design across various project types Proven expertise in spatial coordination within Plumbing design with a strong track record of delivering high-quality efficient and compliant solutions Knowledge of British Standards ASHRAE UPC CIBSE NFPA UAE KSA codes and local regulations Minimum of 5 years of design coordination experience in PHE design preferably experienced in project delivery in the Middle East Experience working in a design consultancy with a proven track record in delivering projects in collaboration with remote design centres Proficiency in Autodesk Revit AutoCAD Navisworks Manage and BIM 360 ACC preferably certified as Autodesk Certified Professional Strong understanding of PHE engineering systems and terminology Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills Desirable Skills Experience using automation tools like Dynamo Python or C for repetitive BIM tasks and model validation Interest in digital innovation AI applications in AEC and future-focused workflows Experience in using Power BI or similar tools to monitor BIM implementation performance What we offer At Arup we care about each member s success so we can grow together Guided by our values we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success As well as competitive fair and equitable pay we offer a career in which all our members can belong grow and thrive -
