with BIM capability as a supporting skill not the driver This individual must be able to interpret and draw information into the model in a technically sound engineering-led manner using the model as both a design coordination tool and a powerful medium of communication The ideal candidate will serve as a design integrator - someone who can think in 3D proactively identify and resolve technical coordination challenges and lead strategic planning discussions before modelling begins They will be instrumental in bringing engineers together to define strategies establish design intent and enable seamless coordination across disciplines ensuring that modelling is efficient integrated and robust from the outset As a Task Team Senior Mechanical at Arup you will lead the coordination of mechanical design models-such as cooling and ventilation systems-ensuring integration with other services for accessibility maintenance and constructability Using tools like Revit Navisworks and Construction Cloud you ll collaborate with engineers from concept to detailed design represent stakeholders in coordination meetings and ensure high-quality BIM-compliant model submissions through rigorous QA QC checks If this role right for you We are looking for someone who has Minimum Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field Extensive experience in mechanical design across various project types Proven expertise in spatial coordination within mechanical design with a strong track record of delivering high-quality efficient and compliant solutions Knowledge of British Standards ASHRAE CIBSE NFPA SMACNA UAE KSA codes and local regulations Minimum of 5 years of design coordination experience in mechanical design preferably experienced in project delivery in the Middle East Experience working in a design consultancy with a proven track record in delivering projects in collaboration with remote design centres Proficiency in Autodesk Revit AutoCAD Navisworks Manage and BIM 360 ACC preferably certified as Autodesk Certified Professional Strong understanding of mechanical engineering systems and terminology What we offer you At Arup we care about each member s success so we can grow together Guided by our values we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success As well as competitive fair and equitable pay we offer a career in which all our members can belong grow and thrive -
