Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive, people-focused HR & Recruitment Associate. This role will play a key part in attracting, coordinating, and onboarding high-caliber candidates across clinical and non-clinical roles, while supporting broader HR initiatives.

This position is ideal for someone with a recruitment-first mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)

- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and craft compelling job descriptions
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and coordinating interviews
- Utilize platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Smart Sourcing, and internal referrals to build talent pipelines
- Manage candidate tracking, communication, and feedback loops
- Ensure a professional and efficient candidate experience from application to offer

HR Operations Support

- Assist with onboarding coordination, credential verification, and employment documentation
- Maintain and organize digital employee records and HR databases
- Support performance and feedback documentation processes as needed

Culture & Employer Branding

- Represent Science & Humans positively in all candidate and partner interactions
- Contribute to hiring strategy and diversity outreach initiatives
- Help improve recruitment workflows and recommend sourcing optimizations

Requirements:

- 2+ years of recruitment or HR experience in a high-growth or healthcare environment
- Must have experience with North American recruitment and working within North American time zones
- Preferred: Experience hiring in the healthcare sector
- Preferred: Background working in a Series A (or later) funded startup or high-growth company
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and applicant tracking tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with automation tools or using AI in recruitment or HR processes considered a bonus
