Key Responsibilities Supervise daily paint shop operations during assigned shift pre-treatment primer base coat top coat baking Ensure adherence to production schedules quality standards and process parameters e g film thickness temperature humidity Maintain optimal line speed paint usage and process control to meet production goals PLC Automation Support Monitor troubleshoot and program PLC systems e g Siemens Allen-Bradley ABB used in paint shop automation and robotics Collaborate with maintenance and automation teams for root cause analysis and quick resolution of control system issues Maintain documentation of PLC programs and electrical schematics Ensure proper functioning of conveyors paint robots ovens and control panels Quality Safety Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure zero-defect output through preventive controls Identify paint defects e g runs sags orange peel and take corrective actions Enforce strict adherence to EHS Environment Health Safety guidelines including proper PPE usage and ventilation compliance Team Process Management Lead and guide operators and technicians during the shift Provide technical training on safe operation of automated equipment and basic troubleshooting Support lean manufacturing TPM and continuous improvement initiatives Kaizen 5S etc Key Skills Competencies In-depth understanding of PLC systems HMI and industrial automation in a paint shop environment Familiarity with robotic painting arms e g ABB Simens Allen and their interfaces Knowledge of paint shop processes including pretreatment electrocoating baking and spray painting Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on approach in shift-level troubleshooting Qualifications Diploma ITI B E Electrical related filed Three to five years experience Call - 97878 29213 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 32 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Morning shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Location Kancheepuram Tamil Nadu Required Work Location In person Expected Start Date 12 07 2025
