Engineer - CMM

1. Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform measurements and inspections on manufactured parts using a variety of metrology equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain inspection procedures and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain metrology equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze measurement data and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with advancements in metrology technology and best practices.

2. Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of metrology principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in operating CMM, UTM, Hardness Testers, Profile Projectors, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Vernier Calipers, Vision Measuring Systems, etc.
• Experience with quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

3. Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Engineering Metrology and Measurements.
• Willing to work in shifts

Working days : Mon to Sat (6days)
