Job Description: As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new business and the expansion of existing client relationships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales, inside sales, and solutioning teams to create and execute strategies that successfully convert leads into customers. Your responsibilities will include managing the sales pipeline, qualifying leads, conducting client presentations, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and clients. You will be expected to build long-term relationships, understand client needs, and tailor our solutions to solve their business challenges. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Conversion: - Drive the end-to-end sales process from lead qualification to closing the deal. - Work closely with the inside sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and generate high-quality leads. - Convert inbound leads, follow up on outreach efforts, and nurture long-term relationships with prospects. Client Engagement: - Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within targeted companies in Retail, CPG, eCommerce, BFSI, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. - Engage in strategic conversations with clients to understand their business needs, pain points, and objectives. - Leverage consultative selling techniques to position analytics solutions effectively, tailoring offerings to meet client-specific challenges. Pre-Sales Collaboration: - Partner with the pre-sales and solutioning teams to develop and present tailored proposals and business cases to clients. - Collaborate on crafting custom demos, POCs, and ROI assessments that demonstrate the value of our analytics services and solutions. Sales Strategy Development: - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue targets and KPIs. - Utilize market intelligence to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential market segments. Pipeline & Forecast Management: - Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of deals and forecasts in the CRM system. - Regularly update the sales team and leadership on pipeline health, deal progression, and potential risks. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with marketing, solutioning, and inside sales teams to ensure alignment on client requirements, messaging, and delivery capabilities. - Ensure seamless communication between internal teams to drive smooth project handoffs post-sale. Negotiation & Contract Management: - Lead negotiations with clients and prospects to close deals on favorable terms. - Oversee contract development, ensuring all terms and conditions are met, and liaise with legal and finance teams as necessary. Relationship Management: - Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals. - Provide ongoing support and customer service post-sale to ensure client satisfaction. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. MBA preferred. Experience: - 4 to 6 years of sales experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in selling analytics services or solutions to enterprises, preferably in Retail, CPG, eCommerce, BFSI, Healthcare, or Manufacturing sectors. - Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a solution-based sales environment. - Strong understanding of analytics technologies and services, including data visualization, predictive analytics, and AI/ML applications. Skills: - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (pre-sales, inside sales, solutioning). - High-level understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline and account management. - Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of customer service. Desirable Skills: - Experience in selling AI-powered analytics solutions, business intelligence tools, or enterprise-level data platforms. - Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and processes, particularly in the B2B SaaS or technology solutions space. - Knowledge of the specific challenges and trends in Retail, CPG, eCommerce, BFSI, Healthcare, and Manufacturing industries.
