Engagement Platform DEP space within the Plasma-Derived Therapies PDT business unit you will independently serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders determine requirements translate business needs into effective technical solutions maintaining continuous dialogue with all teams to ensure robustness accuracy and consistency By gathering requirements and facilitating cross-team communication between business and IT teams this role directly contributes to PDT s ability to harness data effectively enhancing decision-making capabilities and ultimately competitive advantage in the market You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help Takeda drive innovation adapt to new opportunities and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business technological landscape This position will align to Functional Analysis chapter of the ICC and initially report to the Functional Lead for strategic direction as well as day-to-day management until the role of BA Lead is filled within Takeda ICC post which the reporting and managerial responsibilities will be transitioned accordingly How you will contribute Ability to independently own and execute the tasks assigned while providing assistance to junior team members as required Ensure high quality outputs incl assuming responsibility for the work of junior team members Gather requirements by understanding assessing user needs objectives pain points Translate business requirements into clear functional technical specifications including clear use cases user stories workflows design documents and similar documents Highlight identify gaps in existing functionality user requirements Support user acceptance testing UAT efforts including test case development test execution and issue resolution Liaise with different stakeholders including the client business owner project manager solution architect developers testers validators etc Understand the business justification for the product client s vision and future scope Act as a liaison between IT Quality and business teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on system changes Document all the project related information such as Functional Specification document Validation documents etc as per the appropriate format Participate in Agile development process and contribute to sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives Create detailed process flow diagram by collaborating with stakeholders Work closely with Design team to translate user requirements and business goals into intuitive user-friendly designs Develop change rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine the feasibility of potential changes Collaborate extensively across the organization keep abreast of industry trends continuously learn and adapt to new tools and techniques and contribute to process improvement efforts Ensure the project milestones are achieved on time Drive calls with the Product Owners and other business stakeholders to gather product requirements Lead the daily scrum calls to ensure smooth progress of the project Minimum Requirements Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a similar field required Master s degree in a similar field would be a plus 5-8 years of experience working as Business Analyst Product Owner Jira Confluence MSSQL MS Office Word Excel PowerPoint Teams Figma Understanding of requirements use cases and specification for features Familiarity with project management methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively Strong relationship building and team collaboration skills Preferred requirements Should have experience working with diverse teams including IT product owners Quality and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes Should have experience working in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle SDLC environment Should
