The hiring company is a SEBI Registered Category -I Merchant Banking Firm engaged in Business and Investment Advisory Services, Credit Appraisal, Project Financing, Equity Research, Valuation and Financial Due Diligence. The Company focuses on Debt Syndication and Structured Finance, Debt Restructuring and Resolution Services. The group has diversified into NBFC, Cat I AIF. The Company is having its presence at Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore.
The Company is looking for highly motivated Candidates to join its team at its Mumbai Office.
Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated professional to join our Private Equity Advisory team, focusing on deal sourcing, investor relations, transaction execution, and strategic business growth. The candidate will work closely with promoters, funds, and internal teams to drive mandates from origination to closure.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify investment opportunities across sectors through market research, industry networks, and financial databases.
Engage with startups, growth-stage companies, and promoters to evaluate funding needs.
Conduct high-level screening and preliminary financial due diligence.
Transaction Execution: Prepare investor presentations, information memorandums, pitch decks, and term sheets.
Coordinate with legal, tax, and diligence teams for smooth transaction closure.
Manage data rooms, Q&A processes, and term negotiations.
Investor Interface: Maintain relationships with private equity funds, venture capital firms, and family offices.
Pitch mandates and curated opportunities to the right investment partners.
Track investor preferences and provide regular updates to internal databases.
Sector & Financial Analysis: Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis for benchmarking.
Prepare detailed financial models, valuations (DCF, comparable multiples), and return metrics.
Summarize investment theses and risk factors for internal discussions.
Strategic Initiatives: Assist in developing new product offerings (e.g., club deals, co-investments).
Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, deal insights, and investor updates.
Qualifications:
MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / Equivalent; Tier-1/2 Institute preferred.
25 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or advisory.
Strong understanding of investment processes, term sheets, and deal structuring.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and business analysis.
Skills Required:

Strong relationship-building and negotiation capability.
Attention to detail and high standards of professional ethics.
